Woodland Retreat Renovation in Traverse City, Michigan
Details
This wooded property started with only the house and driveway. The homeowners wnated usable outdoor space for daily living and hosting. Our team created a full wraparound layout with defined paths, structured planting beds, and two gathering zones connected by a custom stone staircase. Beds were installed on all sides of the home to bring color and structure. Boulder elements frame the ledgestone steps. Flagstone steppers create a natural route back toward the front of the home.

Except for a flower bed in front of the house, when we moved here nearly two years ago we had no landscaping or hardscape. TruNorth was starting from a blank slate and transformed our outdoor space into an outdoor oasis. We are stunned every time we look at it.
